Do I need to make an appointment to have my bicycle serviced?

An appointment is not required. You can bring your bicycle to the shop any time during business hours.* We will give it a thorough evaluation, make service recommendations, and get you checked in for a work order with an estimated due date for when you’ll be able to pick up your bicycle. If you would still like to schedule an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate that.

*We cannot accommodate evaluations or drop-offs in the first or last 30 minutes of the day without an appointment.

Is a deposit required when I drop my bike off for service?

We do require a deposit when you drop off your bike. The deposit will either be the cost of parts or 50% of your workorder - whichever is greater. This ensures we are able to order any needed parts in a timely manner (especially if you decide on any upgrades or additions after you have left the shop).

Do you work on e-bikes?

We are trained and certified to service Class 1 e-bikes with Bosch, Fazua, and Shimano STEPS motors and components. We are dealers for all three of these brands, so we have access to any repair parts or accessories needed to keep your e-bike rolling.

If your e-bike is powered by a motor from a different manufacturer, we may still be able to provide service. Please contact us before bringing your e-bike to the shop.

If your e-bike has a throttle control (Class 2 & 3), we are unable to provide service at this time.

General

Can I park at your shop while I’m out for a ride?

While we’d love to be able to accommodate that, we just don’t have the space to allow everyone to park for extended periods of time. We encourage people to park at the Canal Street Marketplace to start their ride. There is ample parking and a water filling station. You’ll also be just around the corner from several great restaurants and a brewery when you return from your ride.
