3. WPL Lubricants & Cleaning Products

The easiest thing you can do at home to keep your bicycle performing like new and to save on costly repairs down the road is to keep it clean and lubricated. WPL’s cleaners and lubricants are bio-based and biodegradable, so no need to worry about harmful chemicals. These are the same products we use in the shop when you bring your bike in for service.

4. Pedro’s Floor Pumps

Your bicycles tires (actually the tubes inside the tires) lose air naturally over time. We recommend checking the tire pressure before each ride or at least weekly in order to avoid pinch flats or tire damage due to riding with low pressure. A floor pump makes this task quick and easy. These floor pumps from Pedro’s are compatible with both Schrader and Presta valves, so there’s no need to track down an adapter.

5. Crankbrothers Multitools

Even with the most well maintained bicycles there’s always a chance of running into a mechanical issue or simply needing to make an adjustment. Be prepared with one of these multitools from Crankbrothers.

6. Kona Wah Wah Pedals

A good set of pedals is invaluable - especially when it comes to mountain biking. Bouncing over roots and rocks can cause your feet to bounce and slide, but these pedals from Kona have plenty of surface area and replaceable pins to keep your feet planted. Available in different colors to match your style.

7. Portland Design Works Brass Bells

Have you ever been riding down the bike trail and come up to another rider (or walker/runner) that is moving just a bit too slow? Yelling “On Your Left!” can be a bit startling. A few rings from one of these brass bells will do the trick.

8. Unior Three-Way Hex Wrench

Making sure all the fasteners are tight and secure is an important part of owning a bicycle and an important step to keeping yourself safe on the road or trails. Most fasteners on a standard bicycle use either a 4, 5, or 6mm hex wrench. These three-way hex wrenches from Unior are a handy way to get the job done.
